A summer job with us is an opportunity for you to gain valuable experience while contributing to strengthening Swedish industry. We are now looking for summer mechanics for our department in Sandviken.

Responsibilities As a mechanic, you will be an important link in our team that services the industry during the summer's industrial shutdown. You will perform maintenance and repairs to keep machines and equipment running. Your tasks will focus on:

• Dismantling

• Renovation

• Assembly

• Emergency and preventive maintenance

• Assembly jobs

• Welding work, primary welding methods are stick and wire feeder.

Work at heights, crane/truck operation, mobile work platforms, and heavy lifting may occur.

Qualifications We prefer that you have knowledge or experience in mechanical maintenance and welding work. If you have hot work certification, SSG, truck/crane, and/or experience with mobile work platforms, we consider that particularly meritorious.

A valid driver's license (B) is required for the position.

NOTE! You must be at least 18 years old.

You are flexible regarding working hours and have the ability to adapt to different tasks and situations. You are solution-oriented and can handle challenges with a positive attitude. A strong desire to learn and develop, as well as the ability to quickly absorb new information and skills.

Work Period – Industrial Shutdown Our largest staffing needs are during weeks 29-32, but there may be opportunities to start working earlier and also after the shutdown weeks.
